Promoting Awareness & Reducing Stigma

In 2016 the Public Health team were commissioned by Berkshire East CCGs to promote mental health awareness in schools.  The work included classroom sessions which produced  statistically significant increases in mental health awareness and confidence . The programme also saw the Public Health team producing animated films and other media in collaboration local kids.  The result has been a unique set of resources that can be shared on social media. Together with our Online Counselling Service, this work has been nominated for a national Positive Practice in Mental Health Award.  There's a selection below, so click on an image and have a look...
